IDWS Conference 2025: Looking Back at a Week of Progress
IDWS Conference 2025 has come to a close, marking a dynamic and impactful week of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange across the water and wastewater sector. The event brought together industry leaders, decision-makers, and technology providers to address the future of sustainable water management.

Showcasing Next-Generation Treatment Technologies
Throughout the exhibition, GI Aqua Tech, GI Water as a Service (WAAS), and Sludge Plus presented an integrated portfolio of advanced solutions designed to meet today’s water challenges. These included:
Advanced non-biological wastewater treatment systems
Award-winning G.NANO technology
Decentralized, plug-and-play treatment models
Zero-waste sludge treatment and resource recovery solutions
Together, these technologies demonstrated how innovation can drive efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability across multiple sectors.

Key Milestones from IDWS 2025
The conference marked several important achievements for our ecosystem:
Sludge Plus received recognition through the Global Prize for Innovation in Water (GPIW), highlighting its zero-waste sludge treatment approach
GI Aqua Tech signed a strategic MoU with the Sekaya Charitable Foundation, supporting expanded access to safe and reliable wastewater solutions
Our leadership team actively contributed to the conference agenda, with Sherif Desouky, PhD, and Fahad AlFahhad sharing insights on circular water adoption and decentralized treatment models
We welcomed key sector leaders and decision-makers at our booth, engaging in meaningful discussions on scalable, future-ready water solutions

Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited Booth B2.C10 at IDWS Conference 2025, exchanged ideas with our teams, and explored how advanced technology can enable real impact across the Kingdom’s water and wastewater sector.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to building on this momentum and continuing the journey toward a sustainable, circular water future.
