ARASCO | MEFSCO Plant
The ARASCO-STP project represents a landmark collaboration between GI Aqua Tech and ARASCO, a leading Saudi agro-industrial company. Located in Al Kharj, this advanced Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) was developed as a turnkey solution to treat high-load domestic and agro-industrial wastewater generated by ARASCO's integrated facilities.
With a design capacity of 500 m³/day, the system is based on G.NANO™ technology, a proprietary, chemical-physical platform engineered for robust, high-efficiency treatment. Unlike traditional biological systems, G.NANO is resilient to variable loads, ensuring stable operation and high-quality effluent regardless of fluctuations in organic content or flow rate.
Key features of the project include:
Compact, modular design for rapid deployment and minimal land use.
Odorless, noise-free, and energy-efficient operation, ensuring minimal environmental and community impact.
Water reuse capabilities, supporting landscaping and non-potable applications in line with Saudi Vision 2030 sustainability goals.
The project was successfully delivered in 2025, reinforcing GI Aqua Tech's leadership in decentralized wastewater solutions tailored for Saudi Arabia’s agro-industrial sector. It stands as a benchmark for combining technological innovation with operational reliability, helping clients like ARASCO meet environmental regulations while maximizing resource efficiency.
