The Pilot 2 - Düzce STP project in Turkey was initiated to demonstrate the performance of GI Aqua Tech’s advanced compact modular wastewater treatment solution at an existing municipal facility. This project was developed in response to a need for efficient treatment within a constrained space and variable load conditions.

The system was designed with a nominal capacity of 15 m³/hour, and delivered as a fully containerized unit. It utilized G-NANO technology, enabling high reduction rates of BOD, COD, and TSS while ensuring odor-free and zero-sludgeoperation. The unit featured real-time adaptive control, making it highly resilient to flow and load fluctuations common in municipal networks.

Installed on December 22, 2022, the pilot project served as a testbed for potential full-scale implementation across Turkey and similar regions. It proved successful in significantly improving effluent quality while minimizing operational footprint and energy consumption. The project exemplifies GI Aqua Tech’s commitment to decentralization, sustainability, and scalable innovation in wastewater treatment.
